Privacy choices
Your data, your rights.
This is the public entry point for data protection rights, information deletion and deletion of a YouRing account.
Last updated 24 August 2026
1. Available requests
- Access to personal data about you.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Export or portability where legally applicable.
- Restriction, objection or withdrawal of consent.
- Deletion of specific data or the account and associated data.
2. Delete a YouRing account
YouRing accounts are normally created and managed by the customer organisation, not by the user inside the app. You can request deletion from your organisation's administrator or use the button at the end of this page. Select the subject ‘Account deletion’ and provide the email used in the app and your organisation. Never include a password, authentication code or SIP credential.
After verifying identity and applicable authority, we revoke sessions and tokens, remove the account and delete or disassociate associated personal data. Business call records, notes, recordings or audit records controlled by the organisation may require its instruction or legal retention; we will explain any limitation.
3. Start and track a request
- Send the request from the email linked to the account whenever possible.
- Provide your name, organisation, account email, requested right and relevant categories or period.
- We may request strictly necessary information to verify identity and authority.
- We respond without undue delay and usually within 30 days. Complex requests may be extended under the GDPR, with an explanation.
- Where the business customer is controller, we work with that customer and keep the requester informed of the referral.
4. Immediate controls on your device
- Sign out to revoke the mobile session and clear app-managed local credentials.
- Disable notifications in operating-system settings if you do not want alerts.
- Remove microphone permission; the app remains accessible but cannot make or receive calls with audio.
- Uninstall the app to remove local data. Uninstalling alone does not delete records held by the organisation.
5. Complaints
If you believe a request was not handled properly, reply through the same channel for review. You retain the right to complain to Portugal's National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) or your competent local supervisory authority.
